Bathing in pre-dusk

The sun which shone low through the trees create a spot-light effect on a section of ivy. I took a side view here in order to demonstrate the prime lens - note that there is depth of field here, yet without a focus, it isn't too close-up - allowing you to see more of the framing - making the picture have a free and open feel to it.

About this series of photographs:
The conversion ring allowing me to use any of the lenses from my 35mm Praktica SLR on my Canon 550D DSLR made me want to try out the capabilities of my Prakticar-Pentacon 1.8 50mm prime lens.
